Privacy Policy
The protection of your personal data is important to me. This shop is deliberately designed to minimise data: there are no tracking or analytics tools, no user account and no external payment provider. Orders are handled by advance payment (bank transfer).

2. Accessing the website (server log files)
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. These are typically:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the file retrieved
- browser and operating system used
- the previously visited page (referrer)
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and security of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short time.
Hosting
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The hosting provider processes the above data on my behalf. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
3. Shopping cart
The items you select are stored exclusively and locally in your browser (sessionStorage) so that the cart is preserved while you browse. This data does not leave your device and is deleted at the latest when you close the browser tab. No transmission to me or to third parties takes place in this process.
4. Orders & advance payment
When you complete an order, the shop opens a pre-filled email containing your order and delivery details (name, address, email address, items ordered). Only by sending this email do you transmit this data to me. I process it solely to handle your order and delivery. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Payment is made by bank transfer to the account provided; I process banking data only insofar as this is necessary to allocate the payment. Data serving the performance of the contract is retained within the scope of statutory retention obligations (in particular under commercial and tax law) and subsequently deleted.
5. Fonts (Google Fonts)
To present a consistent design, this website loads fonts (“Google Fonts”) from servers of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When a page is accessed, your IP address is transmitted to Google. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing, consistent presentation). One font (Cormorant Splayed) is served locally from my own server.
Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Contact by email
If you send me an enquiry by email or phone, I process your details in order to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (responding to general enquiries). I do not pass on this data without your consent and delete it as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Newsletter / launch notification
On our preview page you can enter your email address to be notified once, as soon as our website and shop go online. Providing it is voluntary. As proof of your consent I store your email address, the time of sign-up and your IP address. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future — a brief email to bestellung@michelbo.de is sufficient. I use your address solely for this launch notification, do not pass it on to third parties, and delete it at the latest once the notification has been sent or you have withdrawn your consent.
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of the State of Brandenburg.
